Fall 2020 Recreational Soccer Trainings

Players born in 2009 - 2014

Training Plan

  • ECU is offering recreational level social distancing trainings for players born between 2009 and 2014.  This does NOT include any games or scrimmages.
  • Participants must reside within 30 miles of the Eau Claire Soccer Park
  • Sessions will be run by ECU assistant coaches using specially designed social distancing curriculum.
  • Individual skills where every player has their own ball will be emphasized at the beginning of each training.
  • Players may be coached to engage in passing drills where two or more players may be using the same ball.

Requirements for Social Distancing Trainings

Players need to bring the following items labeled with their name:
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Ball
  • Water Bottle
  • Wear Cleats
  • Wear Shin guards
  • Mask (worn in the case of shelter during thunderstorm)
PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS IN DETAIL WITH YOUR PLAYER!! 
Your player's cooperation is required for us to continue with the training program.
Arriving at Practice:
  • Within 8 hours of the training, players will be required to complete the Team Snap Health Check. Coaches will check the status of the health check prior to trainings.  All players will need to have a cleared health check to participate in trainings.
  • Players must check their temperature, be fever free and not have any symptoms. List of Coronavirus Symptoms
  • Players should arrive or be dropped off at practice within 5 minutes of their scheduled training. Please do not arrive any more than 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
  • Players should wash their hands or use hand sanitizer prior to practice.
  • Players will place their equipment in designated areas around the field, spaced in at least 10 ft intervals.
  • All players should bring their own ball.
  • Parents may not remain at the practice and are asked to stay off of the green space/fields at soccer park during all practices. This is to comply with limitations on persons per practice area and to exercise appropriate social distancing.
At Practice:
  • All practices will be scheduled to run for 60 minutes.
  • Players will be divided into groups of 12 or fewer players per half field.
  • Individual skills where every player has their own ball will be emphasized at the beginning of each training.
  • Players may be coached to engage in passing drills where two or more players may be using the same ball.
  • Players should not touch any ball other than their own with their hands. It's soccer, so that shouldn't be too tough.
  • Players will maintain a distance of at least 10 ft between all other players and/or coaches throughout the practice.
  • All coaches will be required to wear face masks for the full duration of the practice, including setup and take-down.
After Practice:
  • Players should be picked up or leave within 5 minutes of the scheduled training end time.
  • Players should wash and sanitize any equipment prior to the next practice.
  • Players should wash their hands or use hand sanitizer immediately after the practice.

$75 - 6 week program; two trainings/week

Wednesdays  5:00 or 5:15 pm  - 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21

AND

Saturdays 11:00 or 11:15 am - 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17

* Credit card processing fees apply to all payments.

*$25 non-refundable registration fee. If the trainings are canceled due to Eau Claire County health department restrictions, a proportional refund of remaining $50 will be offered.
